She is an experienced teacher and teacher-librarian with a passion for technology and the maker movement. Since establishing the Bialik makerspace in 2012, it has fast become a vibrant part of the library and school. Students from all year levels mix freely, sharing ideas and expertise and learning collaboratively. The way that students are embracing learning as makers is now infiltrating the curriculum and is having a profound effect on the changing concepts of learning.
