Classroom Strategies and Tactics to teach STEM/STEAM Courses

 

Experienced American STEM specialist will share with Chinese science and STEM/STEAM teachers on instructional strategies and tactics that aim to help students develop the skills necessary to compete for jobs on global stage. By so doing, she hopes to impart her STEM pedagogical approaches and instructional skills and learn from the Chinese teachers about the success and challenges of STEM teaching in China.

美国资深 STEM 教育专家将会与中国科学教师,STEM 教师及希望从事 STEM 教学事业的教师分享 STEM 教学法,包括易于上手的使用 STEM 课程大纲,课程教学模块,教学干货;指出 STEM 课程致力于帮助学生发展应对全球化环境下的激烈竞争所具备的技能与技巧。通过课程及经验分享, 课程导师介绍自己的教育理念和教学技巧,同时也向中国 STEM 老师了解中国 STEM 教学课堂中的经验和挑战。

Training goals: Demonstrate the theory and best practice of STEM teaching

培训目标:展示 STEM 教学理论和优秀实战范例。

 

Training objectives: Through training, participants will learn:

1)  Principle of helping students develop the skills in collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.

以辅助学生发展合作、辩证思维、问题解决及创新能力为教学原则。

 

2)  Knowledge about STEM: What is STEM/STEAM? How STEM/STEAM demonstrates paradigmatic shift in traditional pedagogical theory and instructional practice?

STEM 基础知识:包含什么是STEM/STEAM; 传统教学法与 STEM/STEAM 教学法的差异所在。

3)  Introduce STEM activities, and its utilization in daily science classrooms.

介绍 STEM 活动以及在每日科学课堂中的应用实例。

 

4)  STEM strategies and tactics that help teachers design STEM activities and curriculum.

通过学习 STEM 课程教学经验和技巧,帮助教师设计 STEM 活动及课程。

 

5)  Connecting American STEM teaching with Chinese STEM teaching and help solve the relevant problems during communication.

在沟通过程中交流中国 STEM 教学现状及问题,找出解决方案。
